3 Months!

So I have a story I forgot to share in last weeks email. Oops. ?

So last sunday we got a text from someone we've been having a hard time contacting saying to come over and he's willing to listen to a message. We weren't going to do much besides facebook anyways so we went. We got to the place Mike lived and he wasn't there but his roomates said he'd be back in a few minutes. So we decided to wait and play some ping pong with them. I'm not very good at it but I tried. Then Mike got back and was happy to see us, then he invited everyone in the house to hear 'The Word'. There was like 13 guys there and they all were pretty involved in our discussion about the Plan of Salvation. It was crazy. I just wish they didn't smoke as much because if felt like both me and Sister Taylor were both hacking up a lung the rest of the night.

For our Preparation day we went to a place called Neptune's Net. It was quite the drive because to stay in our zone we had to go through the mountains. Which has a lot of switch-backs and curves. I'm just happy I didn't throw up. Neptune's net is a little restaurant that serves seafood. Very pricey but it is famous for something so we went. The best part was actually the overlook of the ocean. First time I've seen it since May. When I first got here, driving from the airport we saw it but that's pretty much it. First time it actually felt like we were on the coast other than joking about how the people are 'out surfing' when they don't answer the door.

And yes to anyone who is wondering, we worked with horses again this week. Mostly mucked out stalls but it was still good. Gave one a bath too though, which was pretty fun. That horse has a personality. Tried to push me around with her face a few times. You gotta tell them no when they do that. Don't let them give you sass.

Yard work as a missionary never seems to end. Seriously. We helped a dude trim his bushes and we helped another one plant his garden again. He's got a long process for his garden. He made us barbeque chicken though which was fantastic.

I hit three months on Monday! And I will hit 100 days as a missionary on the 1st! It's been fast. I have no clue where the time went. And some in my MTC district are going to be trainers next transfer?! Holy smokes. We're grown up missionaries now. Congrats to you two!

So, as I'm writing this I'm on exchanges with Sister Vannuci again. I've got the SIM card. You know the saying "with great power comes great responsibility"? Yeah I'm feeling it in my hands. I'm kind of glad I've only got it for a day because I dont really like it. Too many calls. Too many messages. Too many people who will not respond to us.

So yeah! Ill write again next week! Adiós!
