It's Wednesday My Dudes

Hi! It's Email time! Y'alll better be excited because although there isn't much I've done this week that has been different, I'm going to tell you about it.

Prank calls! We got a referral I'm 99% sure was a prank. We called them and they just started giggling and said they live on 530 Kitty road, which doesn't exist in Newbury and then hung up. We stopped by the adress that was given to us on the referral though but they didn't answer. Left a note. I don't think anything will come of it but honestly, God has converted people who were even less likely, so maybe. Choosing to have faith here.

Service with Horses! So, we got a call from our Zone Leader saying that they found us a consistant service opportunity and to go do it. It's this Equestrian Center called Ride On. The idea behind it is a form of animal therapy where they help people ride horses to help their mental state. So we groomed a couple of horses and cleaned some saddles! You all who know me, yes it was freaking awesome. Brought me back to when I did Horse lessons. Turns out I remember most of the stuff they were instrucing us on so it's perfect!

Walk Day! So, on Saturday was Walk Day again. Where my mission basically tells everyone to walk around for a day and to use the car as little as possible. That's what we did. We parked at a park, did some studies and walked to an apartment complex and knocked on every single door there. Like 5 people answered, and one said maybe we can stop by again, and then we met a lady who invited us in, gave us a cup of water and was really interested in Family History! And as you know, family history is a big deal to the church. We showed her the Family Search App and bonded over arts and crafts. A blister on each foot and one bloody ankle this time. I think it was better than the last one though. Last time we saw hardly anyone.

Man this week has felt long. Having an early preparation day messes my weekly rythm up. We worked on Wednesday which was super weird since it's usually our Preparation Day and then the rest of the days felt extra long for some reason. It's fine. On a good note, as a result of dropping off cookies at member houses once in a while, we are now known as the cookie fairies. Every girl's dream. And you know our friend Rose who moved last week? She's on date for Baptism August 5th! Me and Sister Taylor are so excited for her. She called us the other day, and she said she likes her new place. Don't know if that was supposed to happen but we enjoyed it nonetheless. We'll see if we can go to her baptism.

Well, until next time!
