New Comp, Same Area
Well everyone, I have survived transfers. I mostly just waited for Sister Martinsen to get here. Amazing, I know.
She's so great though. We get along nicely. We got to know each other a bit on thursday and we're both excited. It's kind of fun how there's a different dynamic now. Different for each companion huh? So far yes. I kind of like it.
And Grandma, she likes the horses. Enough to work with them every week so no worries there. We had fun cleaning out stalls and grooming the horses again this week. It's hot and sweaty work but it feels productive.
We met a new friend! We got a referral just before transfers and we got to meet him on Friday. He visited his brother who lives in Georgia, who introduced him to the missionaries there, and he loved it. He seems cool so far, so we'll see how this goes.
So, we've also done some more Chalking! A bunch of them actually. Trying to branch out the content of such things, so we did a diagram and a quote instead of just a scripture. We did three in the past few days. They've been fun. Running out of a bunch of colors unfortunately.
Happy birthday to me!
I call my dog Smee
I'm a missionary
Please come to church with me!
Hope you liked that. I'm 21 now. A little old compared to some missionaries but I'm not the oldest so I have that going for me. District council was on my birthday, and everyone sang to me while I stood there awkwardly. Then us Sisters in the district got doughnuts. I made birthday Fajitas, which was a hit for Sister Martinsen. She liked them. I'd say it was a good birthday.
Well, that's been this week! Keep in touch everyone!
