I Left My Area 3x This Week

Hi Everyone! It honestly doesnt feel like I should be writing quite yet. A week should be longer. This one felt really short. Probably because it was very busy. Oh, and welcome to the Email list Jody! I started getting your emails and realized you may want mine too. So, yeah!

So first and foremost, we got to go to the Temple on Thursday! It was amazing. I took a family name and I could feel her there in the room. It was amazing. Hope you've accepted it Louisa.

The LA temple is absolutely gorgeous! It's got some beautiful murals and not to mention the celestial room was absolutely divine. It had a painting all around on the walls and it makes me wonder if the Celestial Kingdom will look like that. Beautiful.

So I've got a treat for y'all. I went on TWO exchanges this week. Perks of having an STL companion I guess. I went with Sister Stanger to West Lake on friday. So sorry grandma, no horses this week. It was a good day though.

Some crazy stories for you all. So I drove up to this adress, since Sister Stanger is in her last transfer and isn't supposed to be driving, and next thing I know she's talking to this man who was walking his dogs before I could even take off my seatbelt. I came to find out that she thought this man looked like a Joe, said "Hi there Joe" and it turns out it was a Joe, and it was the Joe that they have been trying to contact for a while because he was a referral. The spirit is crazy.

Then we had a lesson with a man named Alan. I had heard about him. So in the past he was very Anti, and actually went on a 'mission' to try and un-convert latter-day saints. He read the Book of Mormon and the Preach My Gospel to find out what it is that we teach and how we teach it, and ended up being converted himself. He's so cool. It was a cool lesson.

William and Anthony got the priesthood on Sunday. Bishop was able to give it to William, who then was able to give it to Anthony since apparently Priests can confer the Aaronic priesthood. It was so cool. So, little story for them that I feel the need to share. So, William has apparently met with Missionaries before, and remembered their names. Albert is a guy in our ward who works out with missionaries in the mornings. He is kind of famous for how hard he works them out. Anywhoo, he remembered said missionaries and got William in contact with one of them! Said missionary remembered meeting him, but was transfered soon after. Lost in the cracks. He was so happy that they were able to recieve the gospel even so many years later. He hadn't had a single baptism during his mission, so it was truly a tender mercy that he was able to help someone find the gospel, even if it was later in life.

Then I went on Exchanges again yesterday! This time with Sister Holtby in Canejo canyon. She's literally a light. So bright and optimistic and full of the spirit. It was a great day. It amazes me because I'd suggest something and then she'd say "I was literally thinking the same thing". Kind of reassuring because that means I have the spirit too. Kind of random but It's always good to know that he's there.

Okay this one is long, so congrats if you made it to the end. I'll write again next week, because I don't want Mom and Grandma to kill me. XD
