Tollhouse Cookie Dough Rocks
Hi again! Thanks for checking in. Im still alive and I'm still in California. Y'all, it's expensive here. I was at Walmart a while ago and I saw a bag of chicken nuggets that was 20 dollars! Found one that was cheaper though, luckily but I saw that price tag and my mind was blown. I dont know how anyone affords anything here, especially a house. Some of them here in Newbury park are beyond what I'll probably make in a lifetime.
So, I'll get to what you all have been waiting for. William and Anthony's baptism was lovely. So lovely. A lot of people from all over the stake came to it, there was amazing talks, me and Sister Martinsen made cookies and it was overall just great! Anthony said our cookies were even better than Crumbl! Guess our title as the cookie fairies still stands. Thank you pre-made tollhouse cookie dough.
They were given the gift of the Holy ghost the next day and it was so special. Sunday was just so cool. I've decided I love Ward Council. We don't always go but when we do we get the fill on everything! A lot of ideas on what we should do and where we should go, and to also help our new, old, and inactive members. We also got more gossip from the members at the break the fast they had later that afternoon. They had some great food.
Well, fun parts aside, I'll tell you all about another horse. The one I got a picture with, her name's Tigerlily. She's the absolute sweetest. Probably one of the most gentle horses I've worked with. She's such an angel. It doesnt help that she's tiny and adorable too. About 7-10 hands tall.
We've found a few new people to teach too! So, we've been calling some people that were taught in the past and we got in contact with a mom, daughter and their caretaker. They're so sweet. They really love the Book of Mormon.
We also stopped by a house and a miracle happened. It had a gate on it so we thought it was likely it wouldnt lead to anything but it opened! A miracle! We met the mother of someone who's been taught in the past and she said she'd like to come to church. This just proves that I should never doubt god and his timing.
