This Is The Right Email This Time.

Y'all I accidentally sent this to everyone from my area email. Sorry. So, I'm going to put this under this email this time and hope y'all don't make fun of me too bad.



The bugs are eating my feet. Seriously, got at least five bites on each foot. I dont know why they have specifically targeted feet and ankles but they are. Me and some of the other sisters are going nuts over here! So itchy. 



New Friend:

Other than that, we have been trying our best to get some more people to teach. We are teaching this boy named Alex, whose pretty cool. He asks good questions and seems legitimately curious. The issue is that his parents are gone a lot, and we got to get permission to teach him. We are having him have his mom write a note or something. Hope that's okay. Anywhoo, we are looking forward to teaching him more. 



Meet Dear:

I bought a squishmallow. Yeah. We were looking for a watch since the one Sister Martinsen has had almost her entire mission had finally died. About time honestly. That thing was falling apart. We went to Kohls looking for a watch and doing some store contacting. She didnt find a watch but I found Dear. That's her name, and she's a frog. I think they're running out of names. 



Zone Conference:

We had Zone Conference on Friday! We went down to Cimi Valley for it. It was great! We talked about finding joy in the work amongst other things like how salt has magical healing properties. My young mission leaders did a great job leading a discussion about Agency too! Also, it went over time and the traffic on the way back to Newbury was crazy. So we didn't get to Ride On this week. Next time for sure though! 



Trio time:

On Saturday we had Sister MCcullough join us! We were in a trio for a day! Her companions are the STL's and they had to do something with her while doing exchanges. So we got to have her for a day! We mostly went finding on Saturday but it was a fun day nevertheless. 



6 Months:

As of yesterday, I've been a missionary for 6 months! Isn't it crazy? The time has went by way too fast! And apparently it's only going to go faster from here. I'm just going to say, if it weren't for the spirit, I wouldn't have done near as well as I have. I still really have no clue what I'm doing.

More At The Temple Open House!!

Hello everyone! I’m back again with another email. I’m sending this on time today! Woohoo!! This one’s going to be short but I think it is something I should share nevertheless.  Open House!  I’ve really enjoyed my time at the Red Cliffs Temple so far. I get to help these people who otherwise wouldn’t be able to walk around the temple at all. It makes me feel like I have an important job even though most of the time I just write numbers on a clipboard. I got to take a few people in myself and I love how they become silent in reverent wonder at the beauty of it all. It really tells me that the spirit is definitely there and I can feel it too!  Pushing Grandpa I helped Grandpa Reynolds in a wheelchair. I’m not a jerk I swear. XD That was a fun experience that I was able to look at it with my family. I’ve been through the tour a bunch of times but It’s different when you’re with your family. I Love Conference

Hi! As I’m sure you know, General Conference was this weekend. I’ve been so excited about it and it certainly didn't disappoint. Everyone did an excellent job and the spirit was present. I loved them all. I really need to look back and study them again. I forgot who did what ones but there was a couple I really liked in the Saturday sessions about being peacemakers. How despite the world around us we can still show the love of god. Actually, I think one of them was from Elder Oaks. He did fantastic.  I also loved that Brad Wilcox spoke this afternoon. He is one of my favorite speakers. He also did one of the most listened to BYU devotionals ‘his grace is sufficient’. It’s so good and so was the talk he did today. I love how he said you can’t be a lifeguard if you look like all the other swimmers. Inspiring.  I’d like to share a little tender mercy that was a couple of weeks ago. Hi Again Everyone!

I am back at it again this week! With yet another email. I know it’s late, but I almost forgot and I was saved by Mom threatening to beat me with a wet noodle. So I didn’t forget and as I’m writing this I’m keeping an eye on all the pasta. And Mom. She’s looking at me very ominously across the table.  Zone Conference!  As I mentioned last week, I had Zone Conference! On Monday we met at basically in the same time and same place as District Council, but it was longer and with more people. I can now say I have officially met my new Mission president! President Staples and his wife are sweet. I got a picture with them.  Temple Trips! And no, not just to the Red Cliffs one. Me and my Companion Sister Amy did some Initiatories in the newly Re-dedicated St. George temple. They remodeled it like they had it originally in the pioneer days, and they used rich colors and beautiful curtains. I love it!
