Two Companions For A Day!

Hello everyone! It's Email time! You get the privelege of hearing from me once a week, so you all should consider yourselves lucky. A lot of missionaries don't send them.

So, little overview, the work itself has been a little rough. Feels like everyone in the zone is having a hard time finding people. We are still trying, but prayers would be appreciated.

The Dollar Tree:

So, last preparation day, we did our shopping, and we felt the urge to go to the Dollar Tree. We wanted to get at least into the halloween spirit a little bit. So we spent less than five bucks all together on window stickers, a little shelf pumpkin, and a witch for our door. We named her Winda. She keeps the house safe. These things go well with the christmas tree that's on the dining room table.

Trio Time:

So, on Friday we had an extra companion with us for a day! Her name's Sister MCcullough. I don't know if I spelled that right, and apparently everyone pronounces it differently too. Anywhoo, she was originally in a trio, and her companions are the STL's. They had to start doing exchanges, and they didn't know what to do with her for the time being, so they gave her to us. She's a sweet girl. A great missionary so far. She joined us on our activities that were happening on Friday.

Horses:

Working at Ride On was a bit different this time. So we showed up and there was pretty much no one there. Turns out they had started cancelling things when it gets above 95 degrees outside. Weenies. It was strange because I don't thing they ever did that over the summer. So, we took a picture with Kody this week! He's a silly one. I think he is the tallest horse at Ride On. Also, the girl with us in the picture is one of te volunteers. Eriyanna. I don't think I spelled that right. She's sweet. We told her about the Trunk-or-treat that the stake is putting on the 28th.

Walk Day:

The tradition of this mission is that the first Saturday of the month is Walk Day. We are basically encouraged to use our car as little as possible. So, we did our Tech Exchanges for the first half of the day, and did a loop around some of the stores and such after. We got next to the library when we heard "Sisters!" which we both respond to. It's our new name now. It's going to replace Makenna soon I'm sure. And it's got to be plural, because it's never singular. Anywoo, Bishop was there and he bought us a burrito from the mexican place that's next to the library. That was cool.

Finding Struggles:

A lot of our friends have just about dropped off the face of the earth. Either they're too busy for the next month or we can't get in contact with them. We were able to find a nice old lady to teach and get in contact with a referral, but we'll see what happens. Two is better than zero for sure.

I believe that is it for this week! Thank you for reading if you got this far. I know a couple of you only look at the pictures haha. Until next time folks!
