Christmas Is Coming!!

Anyone else got a countdown till Christmas going on? 19 days!!! Isn't that amazing?! I'm looking forward to it.

It's been a while hasn't it? It's been 10 days since our last Preparation Day and let's just say that we are more than ready for it. It's been a long week and a half. I've got a bit to say today, so I better get started.

Zone Conference!

We had two members of the 70 come to our mission on a tour. Elder and Sister Mckay, and Elder and Sister Dushku. Usually Zone Conference is spread out over the zones throughout the transfers, but we had multiple zones together in three pieces; north, middle and south. All three were done in a period of three days, and all who weren't in person were attending over Zoom. Yeah, it was a big event. It was so cool too! I got to shake their hands and Elder and Sister Mckay sat at our table for lunch! How exciting was that?!

Ward Christmas Party!

Our Ward Christmas Party was awesome! We had a bunch of friends come and most of the ward. The food was good, and Sister Mansfield loved the honey ham. The Nativity was so cool! They had a sheet up and they did the nativity using shadows. It was so cool! I got a few pictures and I'll see if I could find the video of it and share it on Facebook. What really made our night though is our friend Jesus came up to us after and said that "Deciding to be baptized into this church, is the best decision I've ever made." He is going to be baptized on Christmas day, and he has made leaps and bounds. We are so proud of him.

We were given a tree!

One of our friends so generously go us a Christmas Tree! I also just think she felt bad that the one we were using before that was smaller than the one featured in Charlie Brown's Christmas. But we have a tree now and it's so cute! I'm going to crochet our angel, but it's taking a minute haha.

I realize that my emails are getting shorter and shorter. Really I just think that I should show all of you the important parts and I can tell you all the little stories if you ask. I'll write again next week on Thursday because it'll be transfers! I feel that we will most likely stay but you never know.
