I'm Like Rudolf! Except My Eyes Are Red Too.

 Well, Merry Christmas! I'm going to keep this one short because well, I've been sick the last 5 days. Nasty cold. 


Holiday Greeting with a cold!
So, yeah. Had this since last wednesday. Thought I'd have time to recover since they moved Zone Conferencs to Saturday instead of Thursday, but nope! I'm sick still. And as a result we have been under house-arrest except for on saturday! 


Zone Conference! 
So, they did move it back because of the weather. It was raining here for a couple of days last week and they wanted to move it because of that. I was relieved because I thougbt it would give me a day to kick this sickness in the face and make it there perfectly healthy on Saturday. Nope! 
I did not sing in our musical number because I would have ruined it but I passed the mic around and wveryone else still did good so that's fine. I didnt have a big part so I'm lucky there. Said hi to everyone and watched Sister Mansfield beat up a piñata. 


The Baptism of Jesus! 
After Zone Conference we drove back up to prepare for Jesus's baptism! It was so sweet! He was glowing after and everyone did such a good job! I even got compliments on the talk I gave! Even though I sounded like I should be dead! 
Jesus has been amazing to see grow in the gospel and it really testified to me that Christ's Atonement can do anything. 


Merry Christmas everyone! While I know we all appreciate the gifts and food and whatnot, let's remember the one who gave us everything. Nothing has been more of a gift than Heavenly Father giving us his Son.

More At The Temple Open House!!

Hello everyone! I’m back again with another email. I’m sending this on time today! Woohoo!! This one’s going to be short but I think it is something I should share nevertheless.  Open House!  I’ve really enjoyed my time at the Red Cliffs Temple so far. I get to help these people who otherwise wouldn’t be able to walk around the temple at all. It makes me feel like I have an important job even though most of the time I just write numbers on a clipboard. I got to take a few people in myself and I love how they become silent in reverent wonder at the beauty of it all. It really tells me that the spirit is definitely there and I can feel it too!  Pushing Grandpa I helped Grandpa Reynolds in a wheelchair. I’m not a jerk I swear. XD That was a fun experience that I was able to look at it with my family. I’ve been through the tour a bunch of times but It’s different when you’re with your family. I Love Conference

Hi! As I’m sure you know, General Conference was this weekend. I’ve been so excited about it and it certainly didn't disappoint. Everyone did an excellent job and the spirit was present. I loved them all. I really need to look back and study them again. I forgot who did what ones but there was a couple I really liked in the Saturday sessions about being peacemakers. How despite the world around us we can still show the love of god. Actually, I think one of them was from Elder Oaks. He did fantastic.  I also loved that Brad Wilcox spoke this afternoon. He is one of my favorite speakers. He also did one of the most listened to BYU devotionals ‘his grace is sufficient’. It’s so good and so was the talk he did today. I love how he said you can’t be a lifeguard if you look like all the other swimmers. Inspiring.  I’d like to share a little tender mercy that was a couple of weeks ago. Hi Again Everyone!

I am back at it again this week! With yet another email. I know it’s late, but I almost forgot and I was saved by Mom threatening to beat me with a wet noodle. So I didn’t forget and as I’m writing this I’m keeping an eye on all the pasta. And Mom. She’s looking at me very ominously across the table.  Zone Conference!  As I mentioned last week, I had Zone Conference! On Monday we met at basically in the same time and same place as District Council, but it was longer and with more people. I can now say I have officially met my new Mission president! President Staples and his wife are sweet. I got a picture with them.  Temple Trips! And no, not just to the Red Cliffs one. Me and my Companion Sister Amy did some Initiatories in the newly Re-dedicated St. George temple. They remodeled it like they had it originally in the pioneer days, and they used rich colors and beautiful curtains. I love it!
