It's Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas!
Christmas is in 11 days so it's basically here! Exciting! I hope you all remember in the midst if all your parties and such that our Savior is the reason we can have those things. He's the reason for this season and his suffering on the cross is the reason we celebrate his birth in the first place. Remember these things and I promise the feeling of Gratitude will make this Holiday Season even greater.
Transfer news!
So, I've got a bit of a story here for all of you. On Saturday there was a baptism in our district we were going to, and President Rodriguez messaged us saying he wanted to meet with us that morning. An hour before the baptism. It was a vague text message so it scared both me and Sister Mansfield.
I've been struggling a bit this last transfer because of the holidays, and he wanted to know how he could help me. And, well, he said something may need to change. We took that as one of us will be transfered but Nope! We're both staying here. We thought for sure that one of us would leave but the news came this morning and suprised us all.
Lesson with Jesus and Theo!
We had an awesome lesson with Jesus and Theo. They met at a Bible Study that our ward does twice a week and they're good friends now. We had the both of them come to Brother and Sister John's house and had an awesome, spirit filled lesson. Theo even helped us teach about Temple Covenants! They're doing so well. We're proud of them.
P-Day activities!
Well, I'll briefly tell you aboit what we've been up to during Preparation day. Last week we went to a driving range and hit some golf balls. Which frankly, was hilarious because no one but Sister Mansfield actually knew how to play golf.
This week, we meant to go on a hike near Pismo, bit me and Sister Mansfield got lost trying to find it. Got some cool pictures at the top of some hills though. Then we wandered around Pismo and got as close to the sand as we could without actually touching it. Because we're obedient. Yeah.
