Temple Open House Is Cool!
Hi everyone! I’m back again. I hope you all are doing well. My assignments have all started. Last week it was just a few but now that the Open House for the Red Cliffs Temple has started, I now can say that I’m working full time! Anywho, I’ll get started!
Red Cliffs Temple Open House!
It’s so cool! The temple is absolutely beautiful! The grounds are gorgeous and truly fits in to the Southern Utah Landscape. Red rocks and there’s also some of the native flowers in the stained glass windows! Some of the best I’ve ever seen! I’ve basically been helping with wheelchairs when there were no people that needed them.
Red Tailed Hawks!
Here’s a little story. So when I showed up the other day, I was told a story. Apparently when they were working on the foundation work, they had some native Navajo people working, and some Red Tailed Hawks flew overhead. They stopped where they were and stared in wonder to the confusion of everyone else. When asked what’s up they answered that if those hawks lived there, it means that this place is holy ground! Coincidence? I think not!
Deseret Industries Shenanigans!
So, since I’m home with my family, you get to hear about them! Me and my sister went to DI and she spent a lot of money on house stuff and Mom’s been into weird vases. I found a matching Articles of Faith to my Jesus the Christ books by James E. Talmage. For those who don’t know who he is, he’s a great gospel scholar and has great insights about the principles of the gospel. I was so excited and it was only a buck!
