Best Day Ever!!!!

I have had a fantastic week! I’m so excited to tell you about it! I’m just going to hop into it because I don’t really have much to say in introductions this time. 



New Service Assignments! 

So, as I mentioned last week I’ve got some new assignments. They’re good so far! I’m still waiting for the Animal Shelter to get back to me but as always the Family Search Center is treating me good. I started also at the Remote Operations Center (ROC) where we do indexing! I really like indexing so it checks out. Now the exciting parts happened on Saturday! 



Temple Trip and Surprises! 

Saturday is where the good stuff is! So I went to my Temple appointment and I called Sister Mansfield because she said she wanted to say something. At first she asked me about the weather in St. George all sneaky like. And she then told me she was in Hurricane! I was able to visit her! It made me so excited. It was so fun to catch up. 



Elder Bednar!!

As I have mentioned last week, Elder David A Bednar from the Quorum of the 12 Apostles came and visited the St. George Mission! The missionaries were invited and while I was expecting a talk, it turns out it was more of a discussion. We talked about things like faith and prayer and how to help our friends! He’s actually pretty funny too so it was great! I’ve got notes on it so we can discuss it if you want. Even though my notes make no sense because what mattered was the fact that I could feel his conviction of the fact that we have a Heavenly Father and he answers our prayers. That was what stood out most to me. 



Anyways, this was what I’ve got. I hope this lived up to expectations of the excitement from last week. It was worth it to me and I hope hearing about it was entertaining at least. Anyways, bye for now!

More At The Temple Open House!!

Hello everyone! I’m back again with another email. I’m sending this on time today! Woohoo!! This one’s going to be short but I think it is something I should share nevertheless.  Open House!  I’ve really enjoyed my time at the Red Cliffs Temple so far. I get to help these people who otherwise wouldn’t be able to walk around the temple at all. It makes me feel like I have an important job even though most of the time I just write numbers on a clipboard. I got to take a few people in myself and I love how they become silent in reverent wonder at the beauty of it all. It really tells me that the spirit is definitely there and I can feel it too!  Pushing Grandpa I helped Grandpa Reynolds in a wheelchair. I’m not a jerk I swear. XD That was a fun experience that I was able to look at it with my family. I’ve been through the tour a bunch of times but It’s different when you’re with your family. I Love Conference

Hi! As I’m sure you know, General Conference was this weekend. I’ve been so excited about it and it certainly didn't disappoint. Everyone did an excellent job and the spirit was present. I loved them all. I really need to look back and study them again. I forgot who did what ones but there was a couple I really liked in the Saturday sessions about being peacemakers. How despite the world around us we can still show the love of god. Actually, I think one of them was from Elder Oaks. He did fantastic.  I also loved that Brad Wilcox spoke this afternoon. He is one of my favorite speakers. He also did one of the most listened to BYU devotionals ‘his grace is sufficient’. It’s so good and so was the talk he did today. I love how he said you can’t be a lifeguard if you look like all the other swimmers. Inspiring.  I’d like to share a little tender mercy that was a couple of weeks ago. Hi Again Everyone!

I am back at it again this week! With yet another email. I know it’s late, but I almost forgot and I was saved by Mom threatening to beat me with a wet noodle. So I didn’t forget and as I’m writing this I’m keeping an eye on all the pasta. And Mom. She’s looking at me very ominously across the table.  Zone Conference!  As I mentioned last week, I had Zone Conference! On Monday we met at basically in the same time and same place as District Council, but it was longer and with more people. I can now say I have officially met my new Mission president! President Staples and his wife are sweet. I got a picture with them.  Temple Trips! And no, not just to the Red Cliffs one. Me and my Companion Sister Amy did some Initiatories in the newly Re-dedicated St. George temple. They remodeled it like they had it originally in the pioneer days, and they used rich colors and beautiful curtains. I love it!
