I’m An Ordinance Worker Now!
While I’m writing this email, my mom is shuffling cards after my victorious round of Village Idiot. I wasn’t the Idiot so I won. Hopefully I get another round of victory this one.
Temple Trip!
On Friday some of the other missionaries and I went too the Cedar City Temple for an Endowment session. They made a new video for it so check it out! They did a pretty good job! We had tacos at Brody’s before our appointment and it was delicious as always! It did snow though. I’m not a huge fan of snow but Sister DeMille loves it so I guess God can show her that tender mercy. It’s kind of interesting how perspectives are, like how I don’t like it in the moment but she learned to take it as the blessing it was. Just something to think of. Next time we think of a trial, maybe we can try to think of the positives and see it as the blessing it is.
Temple Shifts!
While I’m waiting for Dad to deal, I’ll tell you all about Saturday! After I spent some time with my good friend Em (love u bestie) I had an interview with the temple president. I thought it would be an interview but it turned out like when I got my second job. During my interview a couple years ago for said job, my interviewer became my boss in front of my eyes by shouting to the front desk lady saying “Print out the Paperwork! We’re hiring this girl!”. Pretty much the same thing happened where I went in to the interview and at the end he told me he was going to set me apart. I got the blessing and I now officially have the calling! I don’t know why I thought I had to point out how this was similar to one of my job interviews, but maybe one of you all can help me figure out why it gave me a sense of Deja vu.
That I think was all the excitement I had this week, other than me and Dad trying a new Ramen place. It’s by Cold Stone in St. George for all gone who’s interested. I only had a couple of pictures I took myself so I’m borrowing some off the internet for the temple. Maybe it’ll help some of you in California visualize the temple a little better. It’s truly one of my favorite places! Anywho, until next time!
