New Cousin Blake!!!

Hi everyone! Welcome back to the email of Sister Reynolds. Hope you all are doing well! I told Mom I’m going to keep this short but she replied that I always keep it short. Which is true, but it also means I’ve become predictable. Darn it.  



Assignment changes!!

Seeing as last week was the last week of the Temple Open House, I had to start talking with my Service Mission Leaders to get my schedule filled in the gaps. I’m going to work at the Institute’s service project twice a week instead of one, I’m going to work in Indexing and also an animal shelter. We’ll see how it goes this week and see if any changes need to be made. I would go and be an ordinance worker at the temple, but interviews for that aren’t here yet. I’ll likely try and switch something around to do that once that opportunity arrives.  



Baby Blake!!!

My aunt Haley(Hoover) had a baby boy a couple of weeks ago. His name is Blake and he is adorable! Me, Mom and Ave left for a few days this week to help her out! Well, me and my Sister helped her and my Mom was in work meetings. Mom only came in the evening and took all the turns holding him. It’s alright though! We got some turns before she arrived and we helped sort through baby clothes and made food. Aunt Hoover said it was a big help so that made me feel good at least!

More At The Temple Open House!!

Hello everyone! I’m back again with another email. I’m sending this on time today! Woohoo!! This one’s going to be short but I think it is something I should share nevertheless.  Open House!  I’ve really enjoyed my time at the Red Cliffs Temple so far. I get to help these people who otherwise wouldn’t be able to walk around the temple at all. It makes me feel like I have an important job even though most of the time I just write numbers on a clipboard. I got to take a few people in myself and I love how they become silent in reverent wonder at the beauty of it all. It really tells me that the spirit is definitely there and I can feel it too!  Pushing Grandpa I helped Grandpa Reynolds in a wheelchair. I’m not a jerk I swear. XD That was a fun experience that I was able to look at it with my family. I’ve been through the tour a bunch of times but It’s different when you’re with your family. I Love Conference

Hi! As I’m sure you know, General Conference was this weekend. I’ve been so excited about it and it certainly didn't disappoint. Everyone did an excellent job and the spirit was present. I loved them all. I really need to look back and study them again. I forgot who did what ones but there was a couple I really liked in the Saturday sessions about being peacemakers. How despite the world around us we can still show the love of god. Actually, I think one of them was from Elder Oaks. He did fantastic.  I also loved that Brad Wilcox spoke this afternoon. He is one of my favorite speakers. He also did one of the most listened to BYU devotionals ‘his grace is sufficient’. It’s so good and so was the talk he did today. I love how he said you can’t be a lifeguard if you look like all the other swimmers. Inspiring.  I’d like to share a little tender mercy that was a couple of weeks ago. Hi Again Everyone!

I am back at it again this week! With yet another email. I know it’s late, but I almost forgot and I was saved by Mom threatening to beat me with a wet noodle. So I didn’t forget and as I’m writing this I’m keeping an eye on all the pasta. And Mom. She’s looking at me very ominously across the table.  Zone Conference!  As I mentioned last week, I had Zone Conference! On Monday we met at basically in the same time and same place as District Council, but it was longer and with more people. I can now say I have officially met my new Mission president! President Staples and his wife are sweet. I got a picture with them.  Temple Trips! And no, not just to the Red Cliffs one. Me and my Companion Sister Amy did some Initiatories in the newly Re-dedicated St. George temple. They remodeled it like they had it originally in the pioneer days, and they used rich colors and beautiful curtains. I love it!
