Lake Time And A Onesie From Gma!

I am still terrible at taking pictures as it turns out. But hey, two is better than nothing! 



On the Lake with Grandma and Grandpa! 

On Tuesday I didn’t go to my temple trip with my district because Grandma and Grandpa came down. Grandpa helped my Dad on the boat trailer while the rest of us hung out on the lake. The water was too cold to do anything still but it was still fun to be out there. Funny thing, so Grandpa got the rest of the grandkids onesies for Christmas except for me and Ty because, well, they are kind of bulky. I got the courage to ask for one now that I’m home! It’s cute and fun and cozy. It’s a flying squirrel, which I thought was funny. Dad keeps saying we have an infestation! 



Temple Thursday!

I worked in Initiatories once again this week and I think I’m getting more and more things memorized by now! It’s surprising to me how it’s just getting easier, especially because I am not very good at memorizing things word for word. 



DI!!

Turns out, since I had a haircut on Friday, I want able to go to my assignment at the DI. But since the family is seemingly addicted to it, me and my sister Avery went in the afternoon. She tried on skirts while I talked to a worker about Tropical Smoothies. I had a Magic Mango at the time while we were shopping. It’s good but the Bahama Mama is my favorite still. I also found a dress. I really need to quit buying dresses. Guess this is what happens when you’re a sister missionary. You turn into a dress maniac! I didn’t get a picture of it though sadly. Maybe I’ll wear it and take a picture in it next week! 



Brody’s in Cedar! 

We were once again joined by our grandparents in Cedar. We had Mexican food from Brody’s and we hung out at a park. Totally recommend by the way. The weather isn’t as hot in Cedar too! It was so nice. If only Cedar didn’t get freezing cold in the winters. Then maybe I’d move there. 



This looks so short looking at it now. Poop. Well, I’m sure next week I’ll have more to write about! I’ll see you all later!

More At The Temple Open House!!

Hello everyone! I’m back again with another email. I’m sending this on time today! Woohoo!! This one’s going to be short but I think it is something I should share nevertheless.  Open House!  I’ve really enjoyed my time at the Red Cliffs Temple so far. I get to help these people who otherwise wouldn’t be able to walk around the temple at all. It makes me feel like I have an important job even though most of the time I just write numbers on a clipboard. I got to take a few people in myself and I love how they become silent in reverent wonder at the beauty of it all. It really tells me that the spirit is definitely there and I can feel it too!  Pushing Grandpa I helped Grandpa Reynolds in a wheelchair. I’m not a jerk I swear. XD That was a fun experience that I was able to look at it with my family. I’ve been through the tour a bunch of times but It’s different when you’re with your family. I Love Conference

Hi! As I’m sure you know, General Conference was this weekend. I’ve been so excited about it and it certainly didn't disappoint. Everyone did an excellent job and the spirit was present. I loved them all. I really need to look back and study them again. I forgot who did what ones but there was a couple I really liked in the Saturday sessions about being peacemakers. How despite the world around us we can still show the love of god. Actually, I think one of them was from Elder Oaks. He did fantastic.  I also loved that Brad Wilcox spoke this afternoon. He is one of my favorite speakers. He also did one of the most listened to BYU devotionals ‘his grace is sufficient’. It’s so good and so was the talk he did today. I love how he said you can’t be a lifeguard if you look like all the other swimmers. Inspiring.  I’d like to share a little tender mercy that was a couple of weeks ago. Hi Again Everyone!

I am back at it again this week! With yet another email. I know it’s late, but I almost forgot and I was saved by Mom threatening to beat me with a wet noodle. So I didn’t forget and as I’m writing this I’m keeping an eye on all the pasta. And Mom. She’s looking at me very ominously across the table.  Zone Conference!  As I mentioned last week, I had Zone Conference! On Monday we met at basically in the same time and same place as District Council, but it was longer and with more people. I can now say I have officially met my new Mission president! President Staples and his wife are sweet. I got a picture with them.  Temple Trips! And no, not just to the Red Cliffs one. Me and my Companion Sister Amy did some Initiatories in the newly Re-dedicated St. George temple. They remodeled it like they had it originally in the pioneer days, and they used rich colors and beautiful curtains. I love it!
