Mother’s Day!! And Also Soap Making

Well hi everyone! To be completely honest I completely forgot to write this. So here I am writing this when I really just want to go to bed. XD. On to what happened this week! 



Zone Conference!!

On Monday we had Zone Conference once again. We talked about Repentance and also a bit about what was talked about in a devotional about Joseph Smith we had all listened to the previous week. It was fantastic and they fed us really good sandwiches after! I 



Soap Making as a Foursome! 

So, this is kind of crazy, but I have gained two companions this week. Yeah, really. I have three companions all at once now. It’s a little insane. Basically me and Sister Amy do well on doing our Comp studies and they wanted to find a way to help the other two sisters in our district do them too. So we are now all companions and we do comp studies all together now. I’m adding Sister Jones and Sister Bistline to my companions list. And on Wednesday our Service Mission Leader offered to teach all the sisters how to make soap, which was a blast. I’ve found a new hobby everyone! Another thing I’ve tried and I intend on doing it again. Even spent a good few hours at Walmart looking for all the materials to do it again at home. Didn’t get all of it but I can wait for Amazon for the rest. 



Temple Work!!

I was at the Veil in the Endowment at the Temple on Thursday! I got to try being a presenter and I like it. And it surprised me truly that most everyone really didn’t need my help for any of it. I still need the words. Something I hope I can get down quick. Part of my Temple Worker Super Powers I think. I’ve been starting to remember the words to the Ordinances and things when I normally stink at memorizing and retaining those things. 



DI!

I was hanging clothes again at DI again this week. Sadly don’t find anything worth mentioning at the store but hey, we don’t get lucky every week! 



That’s it for this week folks! A big shoutout to Keaton who did a great job on his talk today and to my dear Mom who puts up with me even when I’m annoying and when I suddenly get a soap obsession. Happy Mother’s Day!!

More At The Temple Open House!!

Hello everyone! I’m back again with another email. I’m sending this on time today! Woohoo!! This one’s going to be short but I think it is something I should share nevertheless.  Open House!  I’ve really enjoyed my time at the Red Cliffs Temple so far. I get to help these people who otherwise wouldn’t be able to walk around the temple at all. It makes me feel like I have an important job even though most of the time I just write numbers on a clipboard. I got to take a few people in myself and I love how they become silent in reverent wonder at the beauty of it all. It really tells me that the spirit is definitely there and I can feel it too!  Pushing Grandpa I helped Grandpa Reynolds in a wheelchair. I’m not a jerk I swear. XD That was a fun experience that I was able to look at it with my family. I’ve been through the tour a bunch of times but It’s different when you’re with your family. I Love Conference

Hi! As I’m sure you know, General Conference was this weekend. I’ve been so excited about it and it certainly didn't disappoint. Everyone did an excellent job and the spirit was present. I loved them all. I really need to look back and study them again. I forgot who did what ones but there was a couple I really liked in the Saturday sessions about being peacemakers. How despite the world around us we can still show the love of god. Actually, I think one of them was from Elder Oaks. He did fantastic.  I also loved that Brad Wilcox spoke this afternoon. He is one of my favorite speakers. He also did one of the most listened to BYU devotionals ‘his grace is sufficient’. It’s so good and so was the talk he did today. I love how he said you can’t be a lifeguard if you look like all the other swimmers. Inspiring.  I’d like to share a little tender mercy that was a couple of weeks ago. Hi Again Everyone!

I am back at it again this week! With yet another email. I know it’s late, but I almost forgot and I was saved by Mom threatening to beat me with a wet noodle. So I didn’t forget and as I’m writing this I’m keeping an eye on all the pasta. And Mom. She’s looking at me very ominously across the table.  Zone Conference!  As I mentioned last week, I had Zone Conference! On Monday we met at basically in the same time and same place as District Council, but it was longer and with more people. I can now say I have officially met my new Mission president! President Staples and his wife are sweet. I got a picture with them.  Temple Trips! And no, not just to the Red Cliffs one. Me and my Companion Sister Amy did some Initiatories in the newly Re-dedicated St. George temple. They remodeled it like they had it originally in the pioneer days, and they used rich colors and beautiful curtains. I love it!
