Starting my email countdown. I’ve got 4 weeks left! Isn’t that crazy?! I remember when I left and it doesn’t feel like it was that long ago. 


I didn’t write yesterday because I was too busy wiping the floor with my family at games. Tysen introduced us to one called Secret Hitler and it’s been fun. If any of you all have played Werewolf, it’s kind of similar except there’s more ways to win than killing everyone off. And I’ve discovered that no one in my family has a good poker face and that my luck is still terrible. I won all the same. We also played exploding kittens. Which I won too by the way. 


Family history work is being done! 

Remember how I mentioned I took two sister names to the temple? Well, this last week I took their sister through too! I’ve got one more sister to do and I’m excited for them. It’s gotta feel good to have all your sisters and their ordinances done. They have brothers too but they’ve already been done. They were German Nobility and, well, they kept better records of the men unfortunately. Also on Tuesday at the family search center I found like 12 more names to do. Sometimes I feel like I can’t keep up! 


A gift for Sister Amy! 

She requested that I make her a dragon stuffie. I said that if she buys the yard I’ll do it. I didn’t expect she’d actually do it but she did and so I made her a stuffed dragon. It made me want to get more crochet patterns so I’m looking. You know, I think making things for people might be my love language because I remember out in the field I’d make all these things and give them out. It honestly made me happy to see people enjoy them. I remember I made a little pig and a couple of missionaries were trying to trade each other for it. That was pretty funny. The elder that got it turned out to be an AP. 


Halloween Decor! 

We have finally decorated for Halloween and me and my mom and sister made ghosts. They tuned out cute so I thought I’d show them.

More At The Temple Open House!!

Hello everyone! I’m back again with another email. I’m sending this on time today! Woohoo!! This one’s going to be short but I think it is something I should share nevertheless.  Open House!  I’ve really enjoyed my time at the Red Cliffs Temple so far. I get to help these people who otherwise wouldn’t be able to walk around the temple at all. It makes me feel like I have an important job even though most of the time I just write numbers on a clipboard. I got to take a few people in myself and I love how they become silent in reverent wonder at the beauty of it all. It really tells me that the spirit is definitely there and I can feel it too!  Pushing Grandpa I helped Grandpa Reynolds in a wheelchair. I’m not a jerk I swear. XD That was a fun experience that I was able to look at it with my family. I’ve been through the tour a bunch of times but It’s different when you’re with your family. I Love Conference

Hi! As I’m sure you know, General Conference was this weekend. I’ve been so excited about it and it certainly didn't disappoint. Everyone did an excellent job and the spirit was present. I loved them all. I really need to look back and study them again. I forgot who did what ones but there was a couple I really liked in the Saturday sessions about being peacemakers. How despite the world around us we can still show the love of god. Actually, I think one of them was from Elder Oaks. He did fantastic.  I also loved that Brad Wilcox spoke this afternoon. He is one of my favorite speakers. He also did one of the most listened to BYU devotionals ‘his grace is sufficient’. It’s so good and so was the talk he did today. I love how he said you can’t be a lifeguard if you look like all the other swimmers. Inspiring.  I’d like to share a little tender mercy that was a couple of weeks ago. Hi Again Everyone!

I am back at it again this week! With yet another email. I know it’s late, but I almost forgot and I was saved by Mom threatening to beat me with a wet noodle. So I didn’t forget and as I’m writing this I’m keeping an eye on all the pasta. And Mom. She’s looking at me very ominously across the table.  Zone Conference!  As I mentioned last week, I had Zone Conference! On Monday we met at basically in the same time and same place as District Council, but it was longer and with more people. I can now say I have officially met my new Mission president! President Staples and his wife are sweet. I got a picture with them.  Temple Trips! And no, not just to the Red Cliffs one. Me and my Companion Sister Amy did some Initiatories in the newly Re-dedicated St. George temple. They remodeled it like they had it originally in the pioneer days, and they used rich colors and beautiful curtains. I love it!
