Onions Are Cursed

This week has been a rollercoaster of nonsense and miracles at the same time. That's probably the best way I could describe it to be honest.

What is a Lateral Patellar Dislocation?

Good question. It's a fancy way of saying my knee cap popped out of its socket! That's right. I was looking at an onion because I wanted to make some Fajitas for lunches, I leaned a bit and felt it pop out of place and I fell to the floor. The Walmart people were worried, but they were nice while I sat there in pain and me and my new companion Sister Mansfield freaked out. The Walmart people called an ambulance for me, and they took me to the hospital. That was the first time I've ever ridden in an ambulance and the first time in 6 months I wasn't with my companion, since she couldnt ride with me. Scary. They took me to the ER and gave me pain meds and a doctor there put my knee back where it should be and told me I should see an Orthopedic surgeon, gave me a brace and told me to wear it for two weeks, and left. So, eventful first day in Santa Maria! Mind you, this was after we had ridden up here all morning. Long day.

The rest of it has been trying to get to know the people. Names and faces are hard! We're slowly getting there though. That's all I have right now, so wish me luck!
