Being Home Is Weird

Image
Hello everyone! Sorry it’s been a while since I sent an email. I got home and adjusting to being back is unlike anything else I’ve done. I’m still glad I am still a missionary though. That would have made this harder I’m sure.  Travel home!   On Wednesday the 17th I started traveling home. I flew out of the Burbank airport to Salt Lake and then from Salt Lake to St. George. It was a bit of a long day. Spent all day either in a plane or an airport. The flights weren’t long but there was a 4 hour layover in Salt Lake. I’m just glad I got home safely and that I was able to reunite with my family. They made me a cute poster and gave me the sweetest hugs.  Unpacking!  I got rid of a lot of stuff before I came out and then stowed it away and I came home to find that I don’t need a lot of that stuff either. In comparison to the three suitcases I was allowed, it was a lot! Went through it all and made my room look like mine again, which is a relief. Before it looked lik...

Thank You

Hey everyone! So I'm going to keep this one super short. I'm coming home within the next few days because of my physical and mental health. I've been struggling for some time now, and I thought it would be best if I came home and recovered, so I'm hoping to finish my mission as a service missionary. Thank you so much for the support I've recieved from all of you during my mission. I appreciate it a lot. I'll probably see a lot of you soon. Until then, stay safe and God be with you.

Pismo Beach Is Cool

Hi everyone! So, I dont have much to write about this week but I will tell all of you what I've got.  Exchanges So, we did splits on Friday and I went with Hermana Van Brooklyn. Yes, I had to look up her name on facebook to get the spelling right. She's pretty sweet. The pictures we have are in Waller Park. It's cool because it has ducks and geese in a pond. Reminds me of Grandpa's Pond back home.  Time with Jesus So on Saturday we spent some time with Jesus, and I taught him how to do Family History on Family Search so he can go to the ward temple trip and bring a name. He thought it was so cool. Then he wanted to treat us to some nice pasta and thr picture is of us there.  Preparation Day at Pismo Beach We wanted to go to Pismo Preserve and this time we were able to actually find it! It was a hike. Not too bad though. The view was wonderful though! You can see for miles along the coast and across the ocean!  This is all for this week. Thank you all for reading and ...

Happy New Year!!

Yesterday, I was with the other Sisters, and I realized that when May comes, I'll have been graduated from high school for 4 years. I'm old. Some of these missionaries just came out of high school so when i'm around them I feel extra old. Well, I dont remember much of this week, but I'm going to say what I do remember.  Recovering from sickness!! So, It turns out I started with a cold, then it turned into a sinus infection. On Tuesday I woke up from a nap and the other sisters were there. They called the Mission nurse and they wanted to take me to an urgent care. So we went. And they rejected my insurance because "they dont have a contract". In two places. Yeah, frankly, it was disgusting. But we were able to get a hold of a doctor who was a service missionary and he perscribed me with an antibiotic. Feeling a lot better now though ao at least that ordeal wasnt for nothing!  Brace Appointment and more Urgent Care!! So on Thursday we had exchanges. Or I just hu...
