This Is The Right Email This Time.

Image
Y'all I accidentally sent this to everyone from my area email. Sorry. So, I'm going to put this under this email this time and hope y'all don't make fun of me too bad. The bugs are eating my feet. Seriously, got at least five bites on each foot. I dont know why they have specifically targeted feet and ankles but they are. Me and some of the other sisters are going nuts over here! So itchy.  New Friend: Other than that, we have been trying our best to get some more people to teach. We are teaching this boy named Alex, whose pretty cool. He asks good questions and seems legitimately curious. The issue is that his parents are gone a lot, and we got to get permission to teach him. We are having him have his mom write a note or something. Hope that's okay. Anywhoo, we are looking forward to teaching him more.  Meet Dear: I bought a squishmallow. Yeah. We were looking for a watch since the one Sister Martinsen has had almost her entire mission had finally died. About time...

I've Given Up...

On my hair. I bet that scared a few of ya! Nope, I'm really just going back to really short hair. I thought i'd try growing it out, but it's driving me crazy. Too much work! I dont have any pictures of it so I guess you'll just have to read next week's email! Bwahahaha!  Horses: I'm pretty sure I've had a picture with Wiz before. But! I have another one. Wiz is a silly girl. She always sticks her head out of her stall and makes faces at you. She is pretty tame though too! Cute horse.  Interviews:  We had interviews on Friday! That was fun. It's kind of nice to see other missionaries from other zones. It was kind of big too because the Cimi Valley zone joined us. A lot of missionaries in one place.  Spicy jerky: During interviews, the Elders were being random as they do. This one from my zone tried some Ghost Pepper jerky another Elder recieved from home, and he was dying. His face was red, eyes watering and said his mouth was on fire. Looking back on it,...

Two Companions For A Day!

Hello everyone! It's Email time! You get the privelege of hearing from me once a week, so you all should consider yourselves lucky. A lot of missionaries don't send them.  So, little overview, the work itself has been a little rough. Feels like everyone in the zone is having a hard time finding people. We are still trying, but prayers would be appreciated.  The Dollar Tree: So, last preparation day, we did our shopping, and we felt the urge to go to the Dollar Tree. We wanted to get at least into the halloween spirit a little bit. So we spent less than five bucks all together on window stickers, a little shelf pumpkin, and a witch for our door. We named her Winda. She keeps the house safe. These things go well with the christmas tree that's on the dining room table.  Trio Time: So, on Friday we had an extra companion with us for a day! Her name's Sister MCcullough. I don't know if I spelled that right, and apparently everyone pronounces it differently too. Anywhoo, ...

Sittin In The Trunk Of Our Car, Thinkin Celestial

Hi everyone! Welcome back. We've had a good week here in Newbury park. So, let's get started. Better buckle your seatbelt because I have a feeling this one's going to be a doozy. I'm putting headings on the paragraphs so you can read what you want to. Chalk Drawings: I'm sure you'd love to know that we went Chalking again. We are completely out of neutral colors at this point, so everyone got a rainbow church. Some pretty funky colors. I'm also including a couple of other drawings I think I forgot to put in previous emails. They were kind of fun.  Horses: Friday was fantastic as always. I've grown to really like Fridays. Service with the horses is always fun. We also usually have our after-baptism lessons with William and Anthony on Fridays too, and they are awesome! I have a great story to tell all of you in just a moment, but I'm going to tell y'all about the horse of the week first.  I think I'm losing track of what horses I've talked ...
