I Guess I’m Now A Primary Worker

Image
In Sacrament meting I was sustained as a primary worker. Bishop Dorius asked me about it a little while ago because they were having a hard time finding a replacement to help teach my Mom’s primary class. They must have been desperate to have two Sister Reynolds in the same class, but they’ll have to made do. I’ll talk about the lesson in a bit, but I figure I’ll write things in order if I can.  Silly little Seminary story So, I don’t know why this came up but I was talking to Sister Amy and I don’t know why this came up but we were talking about Seminary Teachers. Probably because Seminary Graduation was last week. We talked about seminary teachers and our favorite ones. I mentioned how one time in high school, I wore red lipstick to school and my seminary teacher complimented me on it. And it became our thing where we both would wear red lipstick when we had that class. Sister Amy loved it and we wore red lipstick to District council. Why am I including this? Well, it’s one of th...

Lake Time And A Onesie From Gma!

I am still terrible at taking pictures as it turns out. But hey, two is better than nothing!  On the Lake with Grandma and Grandpa!  On Tuesday I didn’t go to my temple trip with my district because Grandma and Grandpa came down. Grandpa helped my Dad on the boat trailer while the rest of us hung out on the lake. The water was too cold to do anything still but it was still fun to be out there. Funny thing, so Grandpa got the rest of the grandkids onesies for Christmas except for me and Ty because, well, they are kind of bulky. I got the courage to ask for one now that I’m home! It’s cute and fun and cozy. It’s a flying squirrel, which I thought was funny. Dad keeps saying we have an infestation!  Temple Thursday! I worked in Initiatories once again this week and I think I’m getting more and more things memorized by now! It’s surprising to me how it’s just getting easier, especially because I am not very good at memorizing things word for word.  DI!! Turns out, since ...

Mother’s Day!! And Also Soap Making

Image
Well hi everyone! To be completely honest I completely forgot to write this. So here I am writing this when I really just want to go to bed. XD. On to what happened this week!  Zone Conference!! On Monday we had Zone Conference once again. We talked about Repentance and also a bit about what was talked about in a devotional about Joseph Smith we had all listened to the previous week. It was fantastic and they fed us really good sandwiches after! I  Soap Making as a Foursome!  So, this is kind of crazy, but I have gained two companions this week. Yeah, really. I have three companions all at once now. It’s a little insane. Basically me and Sister Amy do well on doing our Comp studies and they wanted to find a way to help the other two sisters in our district do them too. So we are now all companions and we do comp studies all together now. I’m adding Sister Jones and Sister Bistline to my companions list. And on Wednesday our Service Mission Leader offered to teach all the ...

Blake Has Been Blessed!!

Also Happy Birthday to little bro Riggs and my cousin Fasie! Hope you both had a great birthday!! Anyways, I’ll tell you about the week!  Children of Hope is Out for the Summer!! School is going out, so I have got to get another assignment for Monday mornings. What I do at Children of hope is I help people with learning disabilities do their homework and hopefully help them get what is going on. But seeing as school is going out, so are they. A change of schedule is coming up and we’re thinking that I could go to the Institute in the morning and then do the Family Search Outreach program. The Institute is going to be the same but the Outreach program is helping somehow with family history not in the Family Search center. I don’t know all the details yet but they asked me if I could help and I thought why not try.  Endowments at the St George Temple! That’s what we did on Tuesday. I will say, the Endowment murals are absolutely gorgeous. I wasn’t here for the Open House so I’m ...
